Stacey Orr teaches Marketing & entrepreneurship at Chapel Hill High School in Douglas County.  She has taught in business education for three years and now teaches in Marketing.  She has a BBA in Finance from Georgia State, a MBA from Mercer and a M.Ed. from West Georgia.

Stacey just received a scholarship to attend the entrepreneurship conference hosted by the National Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education.  She is excited about the opportunity to work with Marketing students and DECA.  She is a former member of DECA and is now a co-advisor with Jennie Voyles.

One thing that I use in my classroom to keep my students organized is have them keep a 5 subject spiral notebook.  They decorate the outside according to their personality.  The first 3 pages are used for a table of contents that we add to continuously throughout the year.  For each day of the semester, the students number their pages (e.g. day 1 equals 1, etc.) and add the days notes, graphic organizers, small activities that I don't want to take up for a grade.  About twice a month, I do a check off sheet for about 10 items and I give them a test grade.  At the end of the semester, the students have something to study with and they can take it with them to college.
